FAQs

Lowcountry Paint, Body & Restoration

  • How do you charge for restoration services?

Our restoration services are billed on an hourly basis, with an additional charge for any necessary parts and materials.
  • Can I visit my shop during the restoration process?

We welcome and encourage you to visit our shop while your vehicle is being restored. It's a great opportunity to see the progress firsthand.
  • If I send pictures of my car, can you tell me how much it will cost to fix it?

To provide an accurate estimate, we require a physical inspection of your vehicle at our location. This allows us to thoroughly assess the work and hours needed for the restoration.
  • Can I supply my own parts?

While we prefer to source parts ourselves, you may provide your own. Please note that a service fee will apply for parts purchased outside our shop.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit?

For insurance work, your deductible is due before service begins. Restoration services require a percentage payment upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
  • Do you offer towing services?

We don't provide towing services directly, but we can recommend a local partner for your towing needs.
  • Are you insured?

Yes, we have insurance coverage that protects your vehicle while it's in our care.
  • Can you restore classic cars?

Absolutely. Classic car restoration is one of our specialties.
